We had a nice snow storm last night into this morning that made traveling home last night a nightmare but luckily for us we had the day off and were safe and sound at home. Dario went down for a late nap yesterday and when he woke up we had already an inch of snow on the ground. Dario ran to the window and said ,"Oh no mommy it is messy out there! Go get the vacuum so we can clean it up!" I laughed so hard!This morning school was closed for both of us and we ventured out to go sledding for the first time. It was an adventure trying to find some snow pants that actually fit my growing belly but after going through Vince's closet I found a pair. We got all bundled up and headed out to the hill and boy did he love it. We walked up the hill and we both went down together and he laughed the entire time. When we went up the hill for the second time Dario said, "No mommy, I do it alone!" After that I was only allowed on the sled one more time. You know it is so much more fun when your mom is not riding with you! We managed to stay out for 1 hour and a 1/2 of sledding and now we can sit inside and enjoy a movie with some hot chocolate until later when I promised we would go outside again!
