Hanging out at the Playground

Trying to beat the heat we headed to the playground this morning before it got really hot. We had a great time chasing transformers, spraying Megatron, and transforming. We had a lot of fun pretending today at the playground.

Danilo is Growing

We broke out the quilt Danilo's Aunt Mary made for Dario a few years ago and it is still gorgeous! I took a few pictures of our growing boy who is now 7 weeks old, and about 14 lbs, time is flying by. Hard to believe he is almost 2 months old!

Brothers

Dario was so happy when he came home from school today to see his brother. Dario loves kissing Danilo but I can never get a picture of it and Dario does not like his picture to be taken. Finally I got a good picture of the two of them. Dario and Danilo are such happy kids!

Danilo's First Pool Time

Danilo was very tired after his swim.

The whole family went to the pool yesterday and we decided to see if Danilo would like the pool, he loved it! He did not cry at all, he was just relaxing. Dario loved that his brother was finally in the pool with him.

Wild Dario

When you come into our house this is how you will usually find Dario. He loves climbing and jumping on things, especially his dad. He is fearless, and has so much energy it is unbelievable!

Danilo is 6 weeks old and so cute!

Mommy, I not tired!

Yesterday during Dario's nap time he kept coming out of his room, talking to himself in his bed, and playing instead of napping. After a hour and a half he came out and said, "Mommy, I not tired!" I asked Dario to lay down on the couch for a little bit. Not even 2 minutes later, this is how I found Dario on the couch. What a cutie!

Danilo and Pineapple Guy

Danilo has been full of energy lately and started to "talk" to us. Here he is playing and tries really hard to get the pineapple guy hanging (I don't think he likes it). Danilo has been smiling, and making lots of great noises. He is really calm, relaxed, and such a joy!

Sprinkler at Grandma's!

When we were visiting Grandma she bought a sprinkler. It was really hot outside but the water was really cold and I was unsure if Dario would run through it. I completely forgot Dario loves taking cold baths. Once he realized the water was cold he could not get enough of it. We had a great time running through the sprinkler.

We all headed to Athens Ohio for a few days because it was Brew Fest and we wanted the family to meet Danilo. Here is Grandma and Danilo resting, Danilo's favorite position to be in.

Paul Michael

Cousin Paul Michael was in DC for a few days and we were very lucky to be able to catch up with him for a few hours. We had a great time at the Cheesecake factory and Paul got to meet Danilo and see Dario's energy level. It was great to see Paul and spend time with him, hopefully we can do it again soon!

One Month Old!

Danilo turned 1 month old yesterday! Now that he is one month old we decided to start the bottle and give mommy a break from feedings. Danilo did great with the bottle, and didn't seem to have any trouble adjusting to it.

Hiking with Mommy

When I get a chance to spend some one on one time with Dario, I cherish it! Daddy was not working today and Dario was not in school so we took advantage of it. Dario and I headed out for a hike and this time Dario did not fall into a stream :). We had some great conversations and had a blast discovering animals, bugs, and racing each other on the trail.

4th of July Parade

We headed to Fairfax County's 4th of July parade this morning. We had to arrive 2 hours early to get a good spot, and it was a good thing we did. Dario did great while waiting for the parade and had a blast while the parade was going on. Danilo slept through the entire parade. I think Danilo gets tired just watching all the energy that Dario has!

Pool Time

Grandma is here for the weekend and Daddy, Dario, Danilo, Mommy, and Grandma went to the pool. We all had a great time and each had a water gun to spray each other with. We had a wonderful time together!
