Football Hat

Thanks again to Erin for sending Danilo a football hat. He loved it and I think it is so cute! Dario has never liked hats but when Danilo's hat arrived all of a sudden Dario loves hats.

Danilo loves to be naked and his favorite thing to do while naked is cooking in his kitchen!

Cox Farm Fun

We headed to cox farm this year just like the past 3 years. We had a great time riding slides, looking at baby animals, climbing on things, milking a cow, and doing several activities. It was a fun time especially since Danilo was able to join in the fun this year and enjoy the slides.

Haircut

Dario's hair has always been long and wild and matched his personality. Some people have commented (papa) when he will get his hair cut. Vince took Dario to get his haircut and we were reminded why we don't cut it often, it just does not fit him when it is short!

Rainy day fun

Special gift

When Danilo was born his Aunt Erin sent him a blanket she made. It was so soft and we used it a lot for Danilo. He soon fell in love with the blanket and would not take a nap or go to bed without it. When he gets upset he runs to find his blanket. Well, Dario fell in love with Danilo's blanket and always complained that he wanted one like Danilo's. Dario mentioned this to Aunt Erin and asked if he could have one.

Tonight Dario received a package with a blanket that Aunt Erin made him! It had the same blue soft side as Danilo's and the other side was transformers. It was perfect! Watching Dario open his present and scream in excitement was priceless! Thank you so much Aunt Erin for making this night so special.

Apple picking

We took our annual trip to apple pick this weekend. We headed out to the or hard and went picking for apples to enjoy for lunch but also apples to bake with. We had a lot of fun picking apples and then came home to enjoy some. I made mini apple pies were a hit. I have a few other ideas for the next few weeks. We are excited fall is here!

Muffins

I have been trying to research and experiment with baking healthier snacks. Snacks containing no butter or oil, and contain things like applesauce, fruit, and pumpkin. We have successfully made whole wheat blue berry, apple banana, and banana chocolate chip. Here is Danilo really enjoying one of my muffins!

Hiking and discovering

The weather was great today, not really hot and a wonderful breeze. We headed on a hike today. The boys had fun finding animals and discover things like nuts, pine cones, sticks, dirt, creatures, rocks and flowers.

Playground fun

It was actually chilly yesterday morning so we headed to the playground for some fun.

Happy 15 months

Happy 15 months to our baby boy! It is amazing to see how much he has grown since he was born and to see his wonderful personality. He has brought us so much joy and laughter! Here he is taking a picture of himself:

Dario and his transformers!

Dario is still in love and obsessed over his transformers. When he plays with them, his imagination runs wild and we love it. He creates his own transformers by building them with all sorts of things.

Pillow Fight

When mom is trying to make the bed the best thing to do is start a pillow fight! The boys love being rough with each other and they enjoy pillow fights! Fun times were had by all

I want to feed myself

Danilo gets mad now when you try to feed him, he wants to do it all by himself. It is messy, and I need to get over it and let him learn and be messy.

Goodbye summer

We headed to the pool yesterday for one last time before it closes. We had a great time jumping in, diving down to get toys, being thrown in the air, and tons of laughing. We enjoyed the pool a lot this summer and it was really hard to say goodbye till next summer!

College Football

We were so happy in saturday when college football came back. It was great to watch college game day, and think that fall is around the corner. Saturday was an extra special day because Ohio University was playing on tv and so was Clemson. We all worn our green and white to watch the bobcats play at noon ( I totally forgot to take pictures of this) and beat Penn State! Then at night we all worn orange and cheered on Clemson while they beat Auburn. It was a great day!
