Happy Halloween

Our shark and wolverine had a great Halloween! We spent it with the Calabro family, and had a blast. We enjoyed pizza, a night of treat or treating, and fun time with good friends.

Goblin Gallop

This morning the family headed out for a 1k fun run. We saw many friends at the race and some ran with us while others cheered. Danilo was not happy since the race started 30 minutes late, but we had fun and plan to do it again next year!

Air and Space Museum

Dario has been so curious and interested about learning all about space and volcanoes. We have read books, look at thing on the iPad, and watch some things on T.V. We decided to take him to the Air and Space Museum in Dulles. It was great to see how excited he was to see the Space shuttle and how shocked he was at how big it was!

Love of books

Danilo has discovered the amazing world of books, and he is in love!

Happy birthday Gina

Dario picked everything out for grandma's birthday cake. He wanted white cake, white frosting, cookies and cream sprinkles, and blue writing. It turned out wonderful and we were lucky enough to share it with her this past weekend.

Dario, Vince, and Grandma craved a pumpkin! They had a great time pulling out the insides, making a face, and craving it.

Great Adventure

I took Dario tonight to a Boo fest hosted by our county. The kids had to be dressed up in a costume. Dario and I had a date night and left the other two boys at home. We arrived and they had 35 games to play. We played an angry birds game, fishing, threw spiders to try to get them in a web, putt-put, tons of tossing games, and the list goes on. The people were very patient with the kids and the games were a lot of fun. Then we headed into the boo barn for a scare. There were ghosts and skeletons that came to life and followed us, sound effects, lights and it was fun. The skeleton followed us and Dario kept saying, skeletons are not real, skeletons are not real, they are not real!" He was trying to convince himself not to be scared. I had to laugh, so cute. Then we headed on a hay ride at night which was fun. When we left we got a goody bag and pumpkin. While walking to the car Dario said , " that was a great adventure mom, thanks!" Awwww.....I love that kid!!!!

Fall fun

We headed to a fall festival and the boys had fun running through the hay maze, riding the train, going to the petting zoo, and the bounce house.

Fire Station Open House

We met up with Dario's friend, GiGi today at fire station for an open house. We learned lots of good safety tips and were able to try out the fire hose, go inside the fire engine and fir trucks. We learned a tin about the fire engine which was our favorite!

Date with mom

On a cold, rainy day Dario and I went on a movie date. They were showing Chuggington for only 1 dollar. Dario was thrilled to have an Icy drink, popcorn, and some candy. We had a great time and it was nice to have time with just Dario and I.

Bike time

After our morning run we came back to the garage and Danilo went running. He ran towards Dario's bike and tried to get on. I took Dario's old bike and showed it to him and he tried to jump on. After some adjustments it was ready. Danilo was thrilled!
