Pool Time with the two boys

Hiking

Dario, Danilo, and Mommy alone for the first time while Daddy is at work! We ventured out for a hike today and it was hard to get everyone out the door right after Danilo was fed as we knew we only had 2 hours till Danilo would eat again. The hike turned out to be great, as Dario was able to run ahead, and run back in excitement telling us what was up ahead. Dario loved picking up nuts, bark, and pointing out the bugs, and turtle he found. We were doing great until Dario leaned over to look at the stream but fell in. Luckily it was no too far of a fall, and he did not hit a rock. But he scared mommy to death. Dario cried for a few minutes, then looked at me and said, "It's okay mommy, I alright." He must have seen the fear on my face.

Sleeping in a tent

Dario has been sleeping on the floor at night so we decided to set up a tent for him to sleep in. Dario loved it! He enjoy the two entrances/exists and the tunnel to go through to get in/out. Surprisingly Dario did not fool around much in the tent and headed to bed fairly quickly last night.

Time to start exercising

Yesterday Danilo and I went on a 1.5 mile brisk walk with the stroller and it was nice to get outside with the fresh air. Today we tried another walk but this time decided to make it harder and strapped Danilo to me. It was much harder to walk carrying this 9lb little guy. Danilo liked it so much he slept the entire walk, didn't open his eyes once. Wonder what kind of exercise we will do tomorrow?

Good Morning!

Dario has decided that he loves the floor. He lays on the floor to watch T.V, and now spends his nights on the floor next to his bed. Hey, whatever makes his happy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Daddy's birthday yesterday and we had tons of fun! We started off with our favorite meal from Maggiano's and then started opening presents and finished off with a cake from Cold Stone! As you can tell it was a very healthy meal. Dario had to help his Daddy open ever gift, and when Daddy received an Optimus Prime birthday card Dario thought it was for him. Daddy was very happy to celebrate his birthday with his two boys, and his awesome wife!

Danilo's First Bath!

This is my favorite picture of Danilo so far! Danilo did not like getting undressed but once he was in the bath tub he was enjoying the nice warm water. He enjoyed his first bath until he had to get out of the tub and dry off. After settling down I took this picture of my beautiful baby boy!

New Transformer!

We went shopping for a new transformer yesterday. Buying a new transformer is an adventure alone as only certain transformers are allowed in our house. The transformers have to look similar to the ones Vince had when he was growing up. They can't look like the movie transformer, that is just not right. So, after finding a few that Vince approved, Dario got to pick which one he wanted. We headed to the car and of course had to open it at that moment. Dario wanted it transformed, and 15 long minutes later Vince transformed it into a car and Dario was happy. In the picture Vince is trying to show Dario how to transform it. Not sure who was more excited to buy the transformer, Vince or Dario!

1 week old!

It is hard to believe that 1 week ago at 6:16pm we were introduced to Danilo! Time is already going by so fast.

Hanging out with Nanny!

Nanny came to visit us for a few days to help out. Here is Danilo after his first doctors appointment hanging out with Nanny.

Dario has been really excited about his brother arriving. We were a little worried about the transition but so far it has been great! Dario wants and loves to help us out with Danilo. Dario likes helping change diapers, getting blankets, and helping mommy get ready to feed Danilo. Dario had been asking a lot to hold Danilo and the other day we finally let him hold Danilo and Dario was the happiest boy around. He is very proud to be a big brother! :)

We are very excited to introduce to you our newest member of the family.

We have been taken the past few days to adjust and will post more pictures soon.

Fountain Time!

We headed to the fountain for the first time this summer! Dario was hesitant because the water was so cold, and he wanted me to go with him. He tried several times, and loved getting sprayed in the face. I know it will take some time to get use to the fountain again, but I am sure he is going to love it as much as he has the past two summers!

Setting Up Transformers for his Sibling!

We set up the bassinet and Dario said he wanted his sibling to have transformers to look at. He took his time and slowly started to set up his transformers. He was trying to make them all stand on their own while looking into the bassinet. This is very difficult to do as many of these transformers are 20+ years old.

Cool Dario!

On our way to school this morning Dario told me it was too sunny outside and that he needed his Lighting McQueen sun glasses. As I passed them to him, he put them on and said, "Much better"
