Over coming fear

Since Dario has broken his arm he has a fear of breaking something else and has been hesitate at hockey. He said "I know doctor Sergio said my arm is stronger now than before but what about my other arm, I could break that!" After some discussions and going over all the padding he wears, he has finally built his confidence. He is doing great and LOVING hockey! Dario says he is faster than a car when he is on ice.

Skype

We had the chance to Skype with Dario's best friend from preschool and he was thrilled. Even though they are in different states they were able to catch up on how Kindergarten is going and being 5. It was just so cute to watch!

Valentine's Fun

Valentines day was so much fun. Making valentines for Dario and Danilo's class, plus bringing things in for their parties, making cards, eating candy, and making Valentine's boxes. 

Another Snow Day???

We had another snow storm most of yesterday. We went grocery shopping in the morning, came out 25 minutes later to find snow covered roads and huge flakes in the sky. So, we headed back out to sled!!! 

More Snow

More snow, have had 14 snow days so far. This time we played cars in the snow and built a garage for the cars. 

Bounce Time

We finally headed to a nearby bounce place and the boys went wild!!! It was hard to take pictures because they were moving so fast. Glad they had a blast, we shall be back soon!

More Sledding Fun

We got about 8 inches of snow this past weekend and we ended up sledding a ton! Dario and I were getting ready to go down the hill when Vince came up behind us and pushed us down the hill. It didn't end well, but we had fun. Danilo liked pushing us down the hill, and he preferred to roll down the hill or play on the slide. 

Hockey, Round 2

We started hockey last October, and it was something that quickly turned into Dario's love, and then he broke his arm and was unable to do it while the bone healed. For Christmas we asked what he wanted and he asked to do hockey again. Dario's Aunt Cea and Aunt Annie gave us money toward Learn to Play Hockey group for Christmas and Dario was thrilled. We are back into it, this being his first week of 10 and again he is excited, and so happy to put that gear on twice a week. He comes home exhausted (finally something makes him tired) and very happy.

Front Page

Dario and I went sledding yesterday and we were photographed, and we made the front page of the Athens Messenger! We did have a blast sledding!

Children's museum

We met up with Vince's cousin Tessa, her mom, and her two cute kids Sophia and Maria. We headed to the children's museum and had a ton of fun! 

Thank you Nanny

Legos, Legos! Growing up my mom made use a mat to play our Legos on and it had drawstrings to pull it up and collect all the Legos when we were done, it was cool. Well they make them now and nanny sent us two and we are all thrilled!

Out on the slopes for day 2. He did amazing trying to tackle the real mountain. Even though it was cold he kept on going!

Headed to the slopes with Dario for the first time to learn to ski. He was amazing and had so much fun!

We headed to New York to have Christmas with cousins. We had a wonderful time and grabbed our favorite gift and posed for a picture.
