Trick or Treat

Dario was Spiderman and loved it. Trick or Treating was better than we thought it would be. It was a nice breezy night and the first site of candy got Dario excited! He was just as excited at the first house that gave him candy as the last house. He bolted out of the house and went running with his friends to the first house. I felt like a kid all over again, it was amazing! The video is Dario running to his first house. I will post more pictures tomorrow.

Good Morning and Happy Halloween!

Dario and I are excited about Halloween tonight and going trick or treating with some friends. He has been getting ready for Halloween for a few days now, and it has finally arrived. Thanks grandma for the shirt, as Dario said, "Cool Shirt Mommy! "

Riding Our Bike

It was such a beautiful morning that we were heading to the playground when Dario spotted his bike in the garage. He was so excited so we decided to take it for a spin. He had such a great time!

I like a medicine!

Dario has been sick for the past few days and had a fever two nights and then Sunday said his ear hurt. It is so nice that he can tell me what hurts, instead of waiting for things to get bad to head to the doctor. Well, we headed to the doctor when I heard Dario mutter the words ,"mommy, my ear hurts" and found that Dario has a double ear infection! Thankfully he loves the taste of the medicine and is willing to take it when I ask. He even likes giving it to himself!

Playing with Tools

There were so many tools to play with upstate New York. Of course we found the vacuum, and looked like he got caught with something he should not have in the first picture. He is still in love with vacuums of any shape or size. He also really enjoyed using the rake on the gravel road.

Playing with PaPa

Wagon Fun

Dario enjoys Nanny and PawPaw's wagon. He likes to sit in it and go for a ride but he also enjoys pulling the wagon around all over the place. He is growing up so fast and looks like such a big boy!

Love of Motorcycles

Once Dario saw Uncle Jason and Aunt Regan's motorcycle he just had to get on it. He looks like he already knows how to ride it, and he looks good on it as well. I think we might have to start saving our money for when he is old enough to drive a motorcycle.

Playing Air Hockey

Dario enjoys playing air hockey on Vince's ipad. He is getting really good at it and enjoyed playing with it a little while on our way to New York. Dario enjoyed playing air hockey on the ipad until..............he discover a real air hockey table at his Nanny's house! Dario enjoyed standing on a stool and playing with his mom and Uncle Jason. More importantly he likes turning it on and off and loves keeping score.

Hello From New York

We headed to New York this long weekend to my parents house and had a great time. Here is Dario enjoying the nice, fall weather upstate New York

Pink Polo

Dario's Aunt JoAnn was trying hard to find a pink polo shirt for Dario just like Vince had when he was little. Well she finally found one and it arrived last week. Today was the first day he got to wear he pink polo and Dario said he like it! Now as I look at these pictures I think it is time for a hair cut!

Cox Farm Pictures

Here are a few of the many pictures we took while at Cox Farm. As you can see we all had a very good time, especially Dario. The picture of Dario sitting next to a pumpkin Dario had to have. He asked for us to take his picture next to a pumpkin and then was very picky about which pumpkin to sit next to. He loved following the bunny around and one of his favorites was a goat. There were about 30+ goats but he found one that he liked and would not leaves it's side. We had a great time!

We headed to Cox Farm today with Nanny and we had several hours of fun. Of course we had to go down every slide we could at least twice. Here is one of the slides he and I headed down. I will post pictures tomorrow.

We headed to the corn maze in The Plains Virginia and we had so much fun. We were able to pet some animals, slide down some slides, ride some swings, run through a mini maze, and then tried to complete the huge maze with a puzzle in order to finish. We had good weather and the big maze was a challenge, but we had a wonderful day!

Date Night

It has been a very long and busy week for both Dario and I so we were both glad it was Friday. I decided I wanted to do a date night with him. I took him to Tony's pizza *my favorite! From the minute we go into Tony's he was saying pizza. When the cashier asked him what he wanted he yelled , "PIZZA!", So, we got a few slices but we had to wait for it to warm up. As every slice went by Dario said,"My pizza?" Soon enough the pizza arrived and we had a blast talking,laughing, and of course eating. It was a great date night for the two of us!

We took a trip to Athens Ohio this past weekend and Dario was in heaven when his grandmother cooked him some broccoli. Grandma also got him some Incredible Hulk outfit that he loves! I am so thankful that Dario loves eating vegetables. :)

Dancing for a Banana

Dario really enjoys bananas. When we go grocery shopping he ask for bananas and he gets to have one while we shop. On this day Dario asked for a banana and then started to dance around with excitement. Here he is dancing with his banana, so cute!

Playground

Dario really enjoys the playground, especially this playground because the slide is so big. Now that I am back to work, we go to the playground after school on days that I don't have to cook dinner. Dario has been daring lately and goes head first down the slide, but I get nervous when he does that so I don't take pictures because my full attention is on him sliding down head first! He slides down head first, jumps off the slide, and says with such excitement, "Again, mommy, again!"

Broccoli and Mushrooms

Mushrooms and Broccoli are a few of Dario's favorite foods. He ask for more all the time and he dances in his seat when he eats something that he likes. He is so funny, I love it!

Pumpkin Festival!

We all headed to a local farm today for a pumpkin festival! This will be the first of a few farms we will visit. We road some slides, very fast slides, and laughed a ton. We also chased some chickens, visited some animals, played on Noah's Arch, walked across a wooden bridge, took a hayride, and picked some pumpkins. Dario had a great time picking out a few pumpkins and was very proud of the pumpkins he picked.
