Having Fun at a Fair

We headed to a fair today and Dario loved the free things they were handing out (the balloons, American Flags, and Lollipops). He did a great job walking with the crowd and following directions.

Local Fire Department

They were having an Open House at the local fire department, and we just had to check it out since he has a love for fire trucks and ambulances. We had a great time at the Open House and what got Dario really excited was being able to "drive" the ambulance! In the pictures above he could hardly contain himself!

Having fun at the Park!

Even though it was not sunny outside we found some time to head to the park to get some energy out of our system. Dario had a blast going down the slide and getting all wet by the puddles, and then playing in the mud and saying, "Me get dirty!" with a smile. We had a good time!

Hiking

We headed to Great Falls National Park today for a hike and a picnic. Dario loved the freedom of hiking the trail, and wanted to see the falls every chance he could get. Dario loved even more showing us how fearless he was climbing rocks, and insisting that we don't help, follow, or hold his hand. At the end of the hike we had a nice picnic and enjoyed the weather.

Easter

Dario had a wonderful time on Easter getting a nice big basket full of toys. He was very excited that the Easter bunny came to visit his house! Sorry these pictures are so late. We are a little behind these days trying to get ready for baby number 2 while Claire has been exhausted and not sleeping much these days.

Bumble Bee Car!!!

When we arrived at Nanny and Papa house Dario screamed "It's Bumble Bee Transformer! Transform!" We have a 74 VW beetle and Dario thought it was the coolest thing. He had so much fun sitting in the car and pretending to drive.

Birthday Party!

Playing with Play Doh!

Dario talked all the way home about playing with Play Doh when he got home. As soon as he walked in the house he asked again to play. Dario wanted to make pasta (or as he says it ss...pasta) with his play doh for dinner. He enjoyed playing while his real dinner was cooking.

Dinner With Optimus Prime

Vince is away for a few days so when we were about to eat dinner tonight Dario said, " Daddy not here Optimus eat with us!" He went over grabbed Optimus and set him up in Vince's spot at the table. Dario shared with Optimus about his day and what he was eating for dinner.

Dario is obsessed with Transformers

After I picked Dario up from school today my friend Michelle stopped by the car to say hello to Dario and I. We were talking about Dario being a big brother, and for a few months now Dario has been able to say his soon to be siblings name. He practices saying the name a lot and enjoys kissing my belly. We are not sharing the name with anyone, except Dario. So, my friend Michelle said to Dario, "What is the baby's name?" Dario yells, "MEGATRON!" We laughed so hard!

Hanging out with Friends!

Vince and I headed on a hospital tour today as we are delivering at a different hospital then with Dario. No kids are allowed on the tour so Dario headed to GiGi and Alisa's house. When we were driving over there Dario said, "I so excited to go to GiGi's house!" It was really cute. He had a blast hanging out with his friends, and enjoying pizza, he didn't want to leave.

Dario loves baking!

This time we tried a new recipe! Oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies, and they were amazing! One of those cookies we might never make again because we just could not stop eating them. We had so much fun, putting the ingredients in, and using the mixer. What is even more fun is watching them bake.

Enjoying Pizza!

We had a wonderful weekend and one stop we made was to our favorite pizza place. Dario is growing up so fast before our eyes! Look how cute he is here enjoying his pizza !

Transformers!

Vince introduced Dario to the Transformer toys he had as a kid, and Dario went crazy! He loves trying to transform them to the "robot". We are now obsessed with the toys and like to talk about them all the time, and bring them everywhere.

Finally A Haircut!

Grandma came this weekend to visit and just in time, because Dario's hair was out of control. He enjoyed the haircut, especially since grandma cut it!
